Do you ship outside of Canada?
Yes! We currently ship across Canada and the US, we are working on setting up more sales to international markets like Europe, Japan, Mexico, stay tuned for more details. Shipping rates vary by courier and time of year, and delivery times vary by location.
What are your store hours?
Our regular store hours are
- Monday and Tuesday - Closed
- Wednesday to Friday 9am - 5pm
- Saturday 7am - 4pm
- Sunday 7am - 2pm. Closed Mondays and Tuesday.
During the summer we are open 6 days a week.

Do you have Bait?
Yes, we carry live bait (Worms, Maggots, Mealworms) and frozen bait (Assorted frozen bait fish)
Live minnows are not allowed in Alberta.
Can I return or exchange items?
Yes, you have up to 45 days to return or exchange what you bought, exchanges and returns will only be done on product that isn't used.
Do you offer fishing advice or local tips?
Definitely! Our team knows the local waters and we're always happy to share tips on what's working, where to fish, and which gear to use for different conditions.
How do I track my online order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can use this to monitor your delivery status.

Why are you closed Mondays and Tuesdays?
Many customers ask why we're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays instead of staying open seven days a week. Our answer is simple: to practice what we preach! We value family time and the great outdoors.
Before opening Stony Tackle Shack, we left behind extremely stressful careers. We vowed that our new venture would be different, committing to a healthy balance rather than facing the same old burnout.
Taking Mondays and Tuesdays off allows us to spend quality time together, head out camping, and get some fishing in. After all, imagine working seven days a week without ever getting a break to enjoy the hobbies you love! This schedule ensures we come back refreshed, recharged, and ready to give you our absolute best from Wednesday to Sunday.
