The MaxMonster flasher has a powerful, aggressive swimming action, swinging and fluttering from side to side. Its lively movement can draw perch from a distance, triggering them to race toward the lure and compete for the bait below it.

Perch naturally hunt in schools, and the large profile of the MaxMonster takes advantage of that behavior. The lure creates the impression of another fish chasing prey, triggering the school's competitive feeding instinct. Once one perch starts chasing, others quickly join in—and that's when the real action begins.

The MaxMonster's large profile is particularly effective for attracting bigger perch within the school and getting them competing for the bait beneath the lure. For ice anglers, this can lead to some seriously exciting fishing.

Some of the best results have come from using a Karismax VertsuWelho jig head tied to approximately 50 cm of 0.25 mm monofilament line beneath the MaxMonster.

When the bite gets more cautious, try switching the jig for a Kitkankatka Jig attached to the line below the MaxMonster. Tip it with your favorite perch bait (Maggot, Mealworm, Beef Heart, etc.)
