Is it blue? purple? red? clear? It is all of these and more! Our Mylar Minnow Chameleon's colour changes depending on the why the light shines off it. This must be why it was one of our top performing flies during testing.

Much like our Mylar Minnows this version looses the heavier epoxy head and adds some hair instead. This keeps the Mylar Hair Minnow Yellow higher in the water column. 

Bull trout go nuts for this fly. The attractive eyes, the bite sized minnow shape and of course the colour white combine to make this our go to bull trout fly. This fly will also sink decently quickly to get the fly where you need it. 

The eyes are one of the features that make this fly successful. The Mylar tube also gives it a sleek minnow shape.

The Mylar Hair Minnow Brown like all our Mylar Minnows, represents a variety of bait fish that works for all kinds of predators. Bass, pike, trout, any predator will find this to be a tasty meal. 

During a trip to a secret stream (sorry) in central Alberta we came across pool after pool of still water containing many cutthroat trout. After casting pattern after pattern to them with no success we tied on one of these and it was non-stop action from there on. Strip it like a baitfish or swing across stream, make sure to give it some life and you will hook up.

There is nothing more exciting than top water pike action and our Mouse pattern gets it done. Also great for brown and brook trout, try to drop it along banks with a light splash and then follow with short jerky retrieves. Comes with a weed guard to prevent nasty snags while fishing reeds. Nobody likes mosquitoes, except trout. While not the most productive of flies, when the mosquito is hitting it is often all trout are feeding on. Useful from a few weeks after ice off until the first or second freeze, we always carry a few of these flies.

We offer our Micro Golden Stone in really small sizes at the request of a good friend in Colorado who claims that flies there are smaller than anywhere in the world. It has proven useful in Alberta and B.C. streams as well. Fish it like you would any stonefly nymph and see the results.

We categorize our Lefty's Deceiver Yellow/Red as a streamer but it could also fall into the Pike Flies category when used in the 2/0 size. Our first pike on the fly was caught with this pattern at Wabamun Lake, Alberta and it has continued to be used for pike and trout.

The Lefty's Deceiver Blue/White is another fly that was tied for our trip to Victoria B.C. for steelhead. More of a saltwater fly however we have noticed it also works for pike and trout. Fish it like an escaping baitfish for success.
