The Pheasant Tail is one of the oldest nymph fly patterns still in use today. First used in 1958, it has been in fly boxes ever since and still produces. Not made to represent any bug in particular but represents a wide variety of nymphs.

At our local pond we've literally seen trout leap out of the water to catch damsels (dragonfly) in full flight. Our Parachute Damselfly Blue is exactly what you need for the days that damsels are present.

A more visible version of the famous Adams dry fly. This fly has a "tuft" of white on its back making it easier to see on the water. We like to use the Parachute Adams when it is getting dark or we are having a hard time seeing the regular Adams fishing fly. On most flowing water the extra visibility of this fly is most welcome.

Despite its name the Pale Morning Dun (aka PMD) is not just a morning insect. Just like the Pale Evening Dun they also flock in very large numbers to the stream side to mate and die, falling to the water. Make sure to have some of these valuable flies because when these mayflies fall, the fish rise.

The Pale Evening Dun spinner fall is some of the most exiting dry fly fishing there is. Mating occurs near sunset when they flock in very large numbers to the river. After mating they fall dead to the water causing even the largest trout to surface. While fishing, try to imitate this falling fly action by dropping the fly on to or just in front of holding water and let it drift. The sheer quantities of this fly mean when they are mating the trout are almost always feeding.

The Mylar tube on our Mylar Minnow Green creates a flashy body and also keeps this pattern light and water free. 

The Mylar Minnow white is a great pattern for bull trout. The flash of the Mylar body seems to draw the attention of even the most cautious predators.
