Ball Jigs by far are the most common fishing jigs used throughout North America. Over 1 Million ball jigs are sold each and every year and this is partly due to their versatility. 1/60 oz. to 1/8 oz. are most commonly used for rainbow trout, brook trout, brown trout, white fish and additional pan fish including perch, crappie, sunfish, blue gill, rock bass and pumpkin seed.

1/8 oz. to 3/8 oz. are the most common size used for walleye. This of course will depend on body of water circumstances and fishing environment. Some anglers choose to run lighter jigs when walleye are finicky, this allows the angler sensitivity to feel the walleye sucking in the jig. ¼ oz jigs are by far the most popular and bestselling weight.
