When we first started testing our realistic selection, we knew that a realistic hopper was going to be magic. Our Realistic Hopper Cinnamon Brown is certainly that. It has quickly become out favorite top fly for a hopper dropper set up.

Our Rainbow Warrior is an excellent attractor pattern that works very well for picky trout. We like to tie these as the dropper with a mayfly or midge on top. This fly is known to bring out the most picky browns from their holding spots. Make sure to have a selection in your box.

At the request of one of our customers we created the Purple Haze with Extra Hackle to ride higher and stay dryer in turbulent water.

The Purple Haze is a purple version of our very popular Parachute Adams and is widely regarded as the best dry fly in the world.

The Propeller Streamer Light Green is a small streamer that moves a lot of water and thus causes vibrations in the water that are irresistible to fish.

As a small streamer the Propeller Streamer Light Green is meant to imitate bait fish in distress. The propellers action in the water can be detected from great distances and often brings out curious fish. 

Fish tend to love vibrations in the water and out Propeller Streamer Brown does it in a way that hasn't been done before. Our propeller design spins to create a movement and vibration that just seems to attract fish.

During testing of our Wiggle Tail flies we caught many large fish but the giant tails caused the line to twist quite badly. Luckily I happened to have a few InvisaSwivels on hand, went back to camp, came up with a design and our Pro-Drift Swivel Predator Wire/Fluoro Leader with Snap 7.5ft was born.  6ft of 30lb Fluoro tied to a 35lb InvisaSwivel Clear with 1.5ft of Knot2Kinky 25 or 35lb wire tied to a #4 77lb snap ensures your line is running strong and twist free no matter what fly you are using. Our Pro-Drift Sink-Tip line is designed to bridge the gap between our Pro-Drift Floating and our Bottom Feeder Full Sink lines. A Type 3 (3ips) sink rate is used to help you get the fly to the right depth. 2 "cut" ends means you are free to use whatever method you choose to attach the line to your leader and backing.

Our Pro-Drift Predator Wire/Fluoro Leader with Snap 7.5ft is designed for maximum strength, consistent turnover, easy fly changes and big teeth in mind. Using a #4, 77lb. snap ensures that the flies will stay attached to your leader and is ideal for our Signature Collection pike flies. The use of Knot 2 Kinky wire prevents bends and kinks in the wire. Updated for 2024 with a smaller snap for use with a wider range of flies sizes. The project to create our own predator leader began in spring of 2020 after loosing my PB pike due to a bad knot tied by one of the name brands. It wasn't the only time we lost fish due the that same knot failing. After most of a season of testing different wire and fluorocarbon combinations we have come up with our Pro-Drift Predator Wire/Fluoro Leader featuring Knot2Kinky single strand titanium wire that won't easily kink. We combine 1.5 feet of wire with 6 feet of fluoro and back the knot up with some UV glue to get our 7.5 foot leader. Comes blank at both ends so you are free to choose how you want to fish. We prefer to tie a loop to connect to our Pro-Drift Predator Line's welded loop then to the fly using a 3 wrap clinch knot with a long tag end (video link at the bottom). This is all we use now. On one particular fishing trip when we first started fishing pike on the fly, we pulled in a gigantic pike. Thankfully we had jaw spreaders but at that time just a pair of needle nose pliers for hook removal. I had my arm in most of the way to my elbow and never went pike fishing without a Pro-Drift Predator Stainless Steel Hook Remover again.
